Technically, the main challenge was how to project and mirror the very human-centric nature of the lead enrichment process on the next-gen AI-driven service platform.

  • Top-notch usability. Ensuring the interface and onboarding process are intuitive and human-centric for new users.

Strategically, the key difficulties lied in experimenting to discover product-market fit while accurately positioning the right clients.

  • Hypothesis testing. As with any startup, there are uncertainties about which ideas will gain traction. Hence, the Grinteq UX team has to test many hypotheses.
  • Agile development. Responding smoothly to shifting priorities and sudden hotfixes while minimizing bugs.
  • Clarifying purpose. Making it crystal clear from the outset how the product works and what users can achieve with it.

Product Design

To understand user needs, the Grinteq team created user flow diagrams and conducted competitor analysis. We also planned hypotheses to help shape the optimal product design. By implementing surveys in Intercom and Posthog, the Grinteq team gathered real user feedback to continually refine the experience.

UX

The Grinteq team analyzed genuine user behavior and responses to enhance usability. Tools like Highlight.io provided insights that helped the Grinteq team guarantee seamless interactions. Surveys identified improvement areas, allowing the Grinteq team to incorporate changes like additional visual elements and guidance based on feedback. The Grinteq team expanded support options with enhanced instructions and a dedicated FAQ section.

Mechanics

The platform automates lead management. The intuitive interface allows sales teams to easily search for prospects with a simple query: as simple as they interact with chatbots today. Users can also upload databases and set custom filters to actively monitor designated events and track lead intentions.

Marketing

The Grinteq team designed multiple customized landing pages using Webflow for promo purposes. They handled graphic design promotions for platforms such as Product Hunt. Presentation materials and analytics on page usage provided perspectives that helped optimize ongoing efforts.

Impact

The startup has gone through and been accepted into Y Combinator's startup accelerator program.
