Founded in 2008, Therabody started with just one product, the Theragun - a percussive gun massager - and has since undergone an unprecedented upswing.

Backed by wide-ranging R&D (19 completed studies, 26 ongoing, and over 75,000 supporting studies), our wellness trendsetting client extended their product line and experienced a massive revenue growth of 2742% between 2017 and 2020, earning recognition on Deloitte’s Fast 500 and TIME100’s Most Influential Companies lists.

Beyond its scientific foundation, Therabody has cultivated a strong brand presence, attracting investments from cultural icons like Jay-Z and Rihanna, and partnerships with elite athletes such as Maria Sharapova and Kevin De Bruyne, as well as top-tier elite football clubs like Real Madrid, Man United, and PSG.

Project brief

Riding its wave of success, forging partnerships with elite sports teams and major brands, Therabody encountered a critical B2B challenge: their online store needed robust wholesale capabilities to support bulk orders for both clients and internal sales teams.

Like many industry leaders operating on Salesforce, they sought a tailored B2B Commerce solution. Salesforce's default B2B Commerce tools proved somewhat suboptimal for their specific needs: out-of-the-box, the platform struggled with bulk orders and lacked the flexibility to accommodate dynamic pricing workflows.

Thus, beyond all-encompassing B2B Commerce, Omnichannel Inventory, and Order Management System implementation and configuration routine procedures, Grinteq's principal challenge to tackle was overcoming the limitations of the out-of-the-box solutions.

Restrictions on bulk orders and cart sizes hindered wholesale ambitions, creating friction for high-volume buyers and forcing sales teams to rely on manual processes. The platform also lacked the flexibility to handle complex requirements such as dynamic pricing.

Salesforce B2B Commerce Storefront: Integrated into the existing Salesforce CRM, designed specifically for business-to-business transactions.

Order Management System (OMS): Seamlessly integrated to manage the entire order processing lifecycle, including order creation, real-time order fulfillment, status tracking, and delivery.

Omnichannel Inventory Support: Enabled inventory management across multiple sales channels (online, in-store, mobile) to ensure accurate stock information and efficient order fulfillment, providing transparent, up-to-date stock visibility.

Bulk B2B Order Management

For Internal Teams

  • Custom Lightning Web Components (LWC): Grinteq developed applications to address limitations in mass order processing and the number of active shopping carts per user, allowing internal users to manage orders more efficiently.
  • Custom Mass Order Creation Tool: The team also created tools for internal users to generate multiple orders using data from Excel (xls) and CSV files.
  • Advanced Techniques: Implemented spread transactions and asynchronous Apex to bypass Salesforce restrictions, enabling efficient processing of large volumes of transactions.
